Warranty Information

At SKH Computers, we stand behind the quality of our refurbished laptops and IT equipment. Every device undergoes thorough testing and quality checks before being offered for sale. To provide our customers with confidence and peace of mind, we offer a limited warranty of up to 6 months on eligible products.

Warranty Duration

Warranty coverage varies depending on the product category and condition. The applicable warranty period will be clearly stated on the product page, invoice, or order confirmation.

  • Refurbished Laptops: Up to 6 Months Warranty
  • Used Laptops & IT Equipment: Warranty period as specified at the time of purchase

The warranty period begins on the original date of purchase.

What the Warranty Covers

This warranty covers hardware faults that occur under normal use during the warranty period, including:

  • Motherboard failures
  • RAM defects
  • Storage drive failures (SSD/HDD)
  • Display issues not caused by physical damage
  • Keyboard or touchpad malfunctions
  • Internal hardware defects identified during the warranty period

If a covered hardware fault occurs, SKH Computers will, at its discretion:

  1. Repair the product using compatible replacement parts.
  2. Replace the defective component.
  3. Replace the product with an equivalent model of similar specifications and value if repair is not feasible.

What the Warranty Does Not Cover

The warranty does not cover:

  • Physical damage, accidental damage, or customer-inflicted damage
  • Liquid or moisture damage
  • Damage caused by power surges, electrical faults, or improper voltage
  • Cracked screens, broken hinges, dents, scratches, or cosmetic damage
  • Software issues, viruses, malware, operating system corruption, or data loss
  • Battery performance degradation due to normal usage
  • Normal wear and tear from regular use
  • Unauthorized repairs, modifications, or upgrades performed by third parties
  • Damage resulting from misuse, negligence, improper handling, or failure to follow operating instructions
  • Theft, loss, or damage caused by natural disasters or external events

Battery Information

As batteries are consumable components, battery backup duration may vary depending on age, usage history, and operating conditions. Unless otherwise specified, batteries are covered only against complete failure and are not covered for reduced runtime resulting from normal wear.

Warranty Claim Requirements

To submit a warranty claim, you may be required to provide:

  • Original purchase invoice or order confirmation
  • Product serial number (if applicable)
  • Description of the issue
  • Photos or videos demonstrating the fault, where requested

SKH Computers reserves the right to inspect and test the product before approving any warranty claim.

Warranty Service Process

If you believe your product is experiencing a hardware fault covered under warranty:

  1. Contact our support team with your order details.
  2. Provide the requested information regarding the issue.
  3. Follow the return or service instructions provided by our team.
  4. After inspection, we will determine the appropriate repair, replacement, or other resolution.

Limitation of Liability

SKH Computers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use any product purchased from us.

Our total liability under this warranty shall not exceed the original purchase price paid for the product.

Important Note

Refurbished devices may show minor cosmetic signs of previous use. Cosmetic imperfections that do not affect the functionality of the device are considered normal for refurbished products and are not covered under warranty.
